De'Asia Thompson holds a BA (Sociology) and MSW from The Ohio State University and is a doctoral student at the Institute for Clinical Social Work. She is licensed in Ohio and Tennessee and founded Rise Counseling Group, a social-justice private practice in Dayton serving Black women and women of color with anxiety, depression, and trauma.

KaBrea Welch is a school principal in Trotwood, Ohio. Previously, she served as assistant principal, teacher, and house team lead in Dayton and worked as a Teacher Education Advisor for Teach For America.
